If you're reading this blog post, you might be interested in exploring the world of clean beauty. Maybe you're a bit hesitant to dive into the realm of clean beauty because it appears to be a bit daunting or expensive. Alternatively, you might have stumbled upon this blog post out of curiosity. Regardless of your reason for being here, I'd like to share some of my favorite clean beauty products with you and explain why I hold them in such high regard.
If you're new to the concept of clean beauty and want to learn more about what it means and how to incorporate it into your life, we have another blog post that could provide you with valuable insights: https://vishtarainc.wixsite.com/blog/post/what-is-clean-beauty-and-how-to-embark-on-your-journey.
For this post, I'll walk you through my top clean beauty alternatives that I incorporate into my makeup routine.
Primer:
The first primer I'd like to spotlight is a fan favorite: The Milk Hydro Grip primer. This primer is a powerhouse in the clean beauty world, boasting a 94% natural formula. It's vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, silicone-free, oil-free, fragrance-free, and gluten-free. Applying this primer will make your makeup glide on effortlessly, leaving your skin feeling hydrated and refreshed. Thanks to ingredients like hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, your skin will sport a radiant, glass-like finish. However, it's worth noting that this primer isn't exactly weightless. If you prefer a barely-there feel on your skin, you may want to explore other options.

Foundation/Concealer:
When it comes to foundation, one product that stands out for me, regardless of whether it falls under the clean beauty category, is the Merit Foundation stick. This foundation stick offers buildable coverage while feeling incredibly lightweight. Its formula glides effortlessly over the skin, and its satin finish makes it suitable for various skin types. The only drawback I can find is its price tag at $38, which might not be the most budget-friendly option. Nonetheless, its long-lasting qualities make it a justifiable investment and is both vegan and cruelty-free.

Contour:
Next up, let's dive into contouring. This product is also from the same brand as our trusty primer which is the Milk Contour Stick. One remarkable feature of this product is its extensive color range, catering to individuals with the most fair to deep complexions. The formula applies smoothly and blends like a dream. A little goes a long way with this product, making it a cost-effective choice.

Blush:
Staying true to the cream and liquid theme in my makeup routine, I'd like to highlight the Saie Dew Blush. My personal favorite shade is "Dreamy," as I have a soft spot for berry-toned blushes, but "Spicy" is another amazing shade worth considering. This blush is highly buildable and leaves a beautifully dewy finish. In terms of clean beauty, Saie makes a commendable effort to meet high standards. This product is free of GMOs, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances. Additionally, it's Leaping Bunny certified and comes in packaging made from 40% recycled materials.

Translucent Powder:
Now, let's talk about another product I'm excited to spotlight: the Ilia Translucent Setting Powder. Although this product was a bit of an investment in terms of price, I believe it's worth every penny. No other translucent setting powder has managed to blur my under-eyes as effectively as this one. It's incredibly lightweight, doesn't leave a harsh white cast, and keeps my makeup in place throughout the day. If you're on the hunt for your next favorite setting powder, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

Mascara:
The mascara product I want to introduce is a recent addition to my favorites, so I haven't had the chance to test its long-term performance thoroughly. Regardless, I'd like to shine a spotlight on the Tower 28 MakeWaves mascara. One of my biggest pet peeves with mascaras is when they clump and create a "spider-leg" effect, but this mascara passes that test with flying colors. It also builds well when I want to add a little extra drama to my lashes.

Lip Product:
As someone who adores lip products, there are many I could discuss, but I'll keep it simple and focus on one for now. Now, if you've spent any time on the internet, you're probably familiar with Summer Friday's Lip Balm. This lip balm boasts a delightful texture and leaves my lips feeling wonderfully moisturized. I'm currently obsessed with the "Brown Sugar" shade, which, in my opinion, complements slightly darker complexions beautifully. The formula is also sulfate and paraben-free, as well as vegan and cruelty-free.
By incorporating these clean beauty alternatives into my makeup routine, I've found products that not only perform exceptionally well but also align with your values. Now if you're wondering where you can find these products, they're all pretty accessible at a Sephora or Ulta— I also have an Amazon storefront where you can find these products in the makeup section: https://www.amazon.com/shop/influencer-9786393a. You can find the products on Clean beauty doesn't have to be complicated or inaccessible, and these products prove that you can achieve stunning results while staying true to your commitment to cleaner, healthier beauty choices.
